Actual length=3.5cm

Measured length(by mistake)=3.55cm

Error Percentage=

 \frac{measured - actual}{actual} \times 100

 \frac{3.55 - 3.5}{3.5} \times 100

 \frac{0.05}{3.5} \times 100

1.42%

Hope this helps you army.

Answer:

Error percentage = (B-A)×100/A

Here, mistaken value = B

Original value = A

So, (3.55-3.5)×200/3.5

= 5/3.5 = 1.427%
