A linear equation is of the form ax + by +c=0, where a,b are real numbers such that

Given that

a^2 + b^2 = 0 will be satisfied only for a=0 &b=0

So if you put a& b in a x + by + c = 0

It will become 0(x) +0(b) +c= 0 so c = 0

Therefore for the given condition the equation represent a point, not a point only
