a linear pair is always form adjacent angle but all adjacent angles are not form linear pair?why? ​

A linear pair is a pair of adjacent angles whose measure is 180°. They usually form a straight line. In a linear pair, the non-common arms lie on both the sides of the common arm forming a straight line. Even if the angles in the linear pair have different measures, they will always form a straight line.

A set of adjacent angles can have any measure and need not be a linear pair. The only thing that is required is that there is a common arm and the non-common arms that lie on either side can form any shape. There are no properties regarding the shape of any set of adjacent angles [except for linear pair or complementary pair].

Main characteristic : There must a common arm in between the non-common arms.
