Hi
Here is your answer,
Let the radius of largr drop = R
and radius of each small drop = r
Volume of 27 small drops = Volume of the large drop
→ 27 × 4/3 × 4/3π R³
So, → r = R/3
Surface area of larger drop = 4πR²
Surface are of 27 small drops = 27 × 4πr²
→ 27 × 4π (R/3)² = 12πR²
∴ Increase in surface area = 12πR² - 4πR² = 8πR²
Increase in energy = Increase in surface area × Surface tension
→ 8πR² × S
Hope it helps you !
