A liquid is kept in a cylindrical vessel which is being rotated about a vertical axis through the centre of the circular base . If the radius of the vessel is r and angular velocity of rotation is Omega then the difference between height of liquid at the centre of the vessel and the edge is ?

Applying Bernoulli's Theorem,

Pa-Pb=d/2(Vb^2-Va^2)

As Vb=rω and Va=0

Therefore

dgh=(rω)^2

h=(rω)^2/dg
