A. List the five exclamatory sentences in the story and mention the emotion
expressed in each.
A little girl lived in a small house on a hill. From there, she would gaze upon a
wonderful house on the next hill beyond the valley, and this house had shiny
golden windows. 'How wonderful and exciting it must feel to live there!' she
thought
When she grew up, she decided one day to cross the valley and climb up to the
house with golden windows—'What a wonderful experience it would be to stand
in the very lawn of that house!' She took the long journey and reached the gate of
the wonderful house, and entered the lawn. But going near she was disappointed.
'Alas, the windows are so plain and dirty!'
Disheartened, she turned round to return. Suddenly she glanced up. What
an amazing sight she saw! There, across the valley, was a little house and its
windows glistened, golden ... as the sun shone on her little home!
