Initial  temperature of the air, T_{1}=27^{o}C=273+27=300K

Final temperature,  T_{2}=177^{o}C=177+273=450K

From the Charles law : At constant pressure, temperature   is directly proportional to volume of the gas i.e. V ∝ T

Therefore  \frac{V_{2}}{V_{1}} =\frac{T_{2}}{T_{1}}                                     ...................(1)

Put the values  of T₁, T₂ and V₁ in eq.(1),

⇒     \frac{V_{2}}{1} =\frac{450}{300}

∴     V_{2}=1.5L
