Work = F×s

F= 100 ×10 Newton

work = 1000× 5

=> 5000Joules

Answer:

Explanation:

Solution :-

Given :-

Mass, m = 100 kg

Height (h) or Distance, d = 2.0 m

Acceleration due to the gravity, g = 9.8 m/s²

To Calculate :-

Work Done, W = ??

Formula to be used :-

W = mgh

Substituting the given values of m, g and h, we get

W = mgh

W = 100 × 9.8 × 5

W = 4900 J

Hence, the work done 4900 J.
