water. Due to the lock, the water level in the measuring cylinder rises from 50 mL
to 70 mL Find : a. the volume of the lock in cm3
b.The density of the lock in g/cm3

Answer:

a) Volume = final volume-initial volume

= 70 ml - 50 ml

= 20 ml = 20 cm³ ( 1ml = 1cm³)

b) density = mass / volume

= (90 / 20) g/cm³

= 4.5 g/cm³

c) density in kg/m³ = (4.5 x 1000) kg/m³

= 4500 kg/m³

hope it helps you
