Answer:

49 number of Wagons

Step-by-step explanation:

A locomotive engine without any wagons attached to it can run @35 km/hr

Speed of locomotive = 35 - k√n

k is a constant

n - number of wagons attched

for n = 16 speed = 15 km/hr

=> 15 = 35 - k√16

=> 20 = 4k

=> k = 5

=> speed = 35 - 5√n

least number of wagons that the engine will fail to move

=> speed = 0

=> 0 = 35 - 5√n

=> √n = 7

=> n = 49

49 number of Wagons
