A long article on we must never tell lies

A lie is something that once we said can never be changed. This is because a word or a sentence uttered is like a gun that has been shot – the bullet once it leaves the gun can never come back. It finds its mark and kills a person. Similarly, a lie also kills the trust between people. The only difference is that a bullet kills instantly and lies kill trust, which is the basis of relationships, slowly.
We should make it a habit never to lie, because once a person starts lying, it becomes an addiction. Like all addictive substances, a lie also harms the mind and the body in the long run. On the face of it, we don’t see the immediate danger but this bad habit catches up with us sooner or later and destroys our relationships.
