A long chain of equal length 11 m 43 cm is cut into 3 chains of equal length. what is the length of 1 chains?​

Solution:-

Lets convert metres into cm

11 m 43 cm = 11 * 100 + 43 = 1100 + 43 = 1143

1143 cm is the total length of the chain

Length of 3 chains = 1143/3 = 381 cm = 3 m 81 cm
