that they had no food to eat. They starved for days. One day Elizabeth went to the forest to look
for food. After searching for hours, she sat down feeling very exhausted. She started to cry. Just
then an old lady passed by. She asked Elizabeth what had happened. The old lady felt sorry for
Elizabeth. “Don’t worry my child. Take this magic pot home. You will never starve again” said the
old lady. Elizabeth was surprised. “What I do with this pot?”She asked. When you need food, just
say Cook! Magic pot cook! The pot will be filled with porridge explained the old lady. Elizabeth
took the pot home and told her mother what had happened. Immediately, her mother tried the
magic pot. It worked! They were very excited. From that day onwards, Elizabeth and her mother
had plenty of food and they shared it with the other villagers.
