Answer The answer is 1500 kg.

Step by step explanation

  1. step 1 - According to suitable property 72 boxes * 15 kg is written as 72 *( 10 + 5).
  2. (72 *10) + (72 * 5)
  3. 360 + 720 = 1080 kg
  4. step 2 - 28 boxes * 15 kg is written as 28 * ( 10 + 5).
  5. (28* 10) + ( 28* 5)
  6. 140 + 280 = 420 kg

Now in the 3 and 6 sentence I have put 0 's in the after 72 and 28 and thats because in the normal process of multiplication we put 0's from the next step . And in this case if we do not put the 0 .The answer will be wrong.

  1. Then add 1080 kg + 420 kg = 1500kg

Hope this helps.
