ANSWER:-

Given,

Initial velocity of the lorry,u=30m/s

Final velocity of the truck,v=0m/s

Time taken to in rest,t=5sec

Acceleration=change of velocity/time

a=(v-u)/t

a=(0-30)m/s /5sec

a= -30/5

a= -6m/s^2

Negative sign indicates retardation
