A lot consists of 10 good articles, 4 articles with minor defects and 2 with major defects. one article is chosen at random. find the probability that: (a) both are good ,(b)both have major defect , (c) it is either good or has major defects,(d)atleast 1 is good

i may help you in finding the true answer.
when atleast one is good .
lets find out by finding out the probability 
The total articles = 10+4+2 = 16 articles( including good articles, minor and major defected articles too)
as the 10  articles are good so =10/16 
By simplifying it will be = 5/8 ( divide both by two)
so the probability will be =0.625
