Answer:

245m

Explanation:We have to use the formula of motion

V^2-u^2=2as

Putting

V=70m/s

U=0m/s(rest)

A=10m/s^2(acceleration due to gravity)

S=?

70^2-0^2=2(10)S

4900=20S

S=4900/20=245 m

Hope it helps you

The height of the aeroplane when the ice fell from the aeroplane is equal to245meter

Explanation:

Given,

The acceleration due to gravity,g is 10 metre per second square.

The vertical speed of the ice when it falls on the ground,v is 70 metre per second

According to the formula of kinematics,

v²= 2gS  ( the initial velocity of the ice is at rest and hence zero metre per second)

S= v²/2S

= 70•70/2• 10 =245meter
