the mass of mud per second = 1000/3600

The power needed = energy / time

= mass * gravity * h / t

= 1000/3600 * 9.8 * 100 = 272 W

Now because the efficiency is only 0.9 we must supply more than this.

ie P in * 0.9 = 272

-> P in = 272/0.9 = 302W approx
