A machine gun fires a bullet of mass 65 g with a velocity of 1300 m/s .the man holding it can exert a maximum force of 169 N on the gun.what will be the no of bullets he can fire per second?

Explanation:

Since, we get from the question that the mass of each bullet is given as 65 g which in kilo grams will be .065 kg and the velocity of each bullet is given as 1300 m/s.

Now, if we let that 'n' is that number of bullets which are fired per second by the gun. Hence, we will get the change in momentum of bullets which are  coming out from the gun per second equal to the force on the man.

So, we can write that -> n (0.065)(1300) = 169.

On solving we will get that n = 2 number of bullets are fired per second.
