Answer:

Length = root (r² + h²)

= root (24² + 5²)

= root (576 + 25)

= root 601

= 24.51 approximately

_____

The lateral surface area of a cone is pi*r*l

= 22/7 * 24 * 24.51

= 22/7 * 588.24

= 12941.28/7

= 1848.75cm²

_____

The area of the circle in the bottom is pi*r²

= 22/7 * 24 * 24

= 22/7 * 576

= 12672/7

= 1810.28cm²

_____

Hence the total surface area will be :

Lateral surface area + Circle area

= 1848.75 + 1810.28 = 3659.03cm²

_____

Final Answer : 3659.03cm²
