A machine raises a load of 750 N through a height of 16 m in 5 seconds. Calculate the power at which the machine works.

power = work /time

=fh/time

=750×16/5

=150×16

=240 J

Force = 750N

Displacement = Height = 16m

Time = 5

Now

Work done  :-

W = F × H

W = 750N × 16

Now

\textbf P = \dfrac{W}{T}

\textbf P = \dfrac{750\times 16}{5}

= 2400 watt
