A mad king decided that he would give away all the money in his treasury to his people. On the first day, he gave away 1 gold coin to any person who came to his court. On the second day, he gave away 2 gold coins to each person who came to his court. On the 3rd day, he gave away 4 coins, and 8 coins on the 4th day. As you can guess, he doubled the number of coins he gave away per person. Ramlal, who was often sick, did not manage to go on all the days. He went on some days, and did not go on other days. He managed to collect a total of 93 coins. On how many days did Ramlal manage to go to court?

Answer:

Given,

on first day = 1 gold coin to any person was given

on second day = 2 gold coins to each person

on third day = 4 gold coins to each person

on fourth day = 8 coins to each person

to find = number of days Ramlal go to court

Explanation:

we have to find out the number of days which is equal to 93 coins

if we start from 1, 3, 4, 5, 7

we calculate this,

1 = 1 coin

3 = 4 coins

4 = 8 coins

5 = 16 coins

7 = 64 coins

if we total up this, we get to 93 coins so he had gone on these five days.
