A magazine charges ₹ 200 per 10 Square cm area for advertising. A company decided to order a half page advertisement. If each page of the magazine is 30 cm by 15 cm, what amount will the company have to pay for it?​

area of a page news paper = 30cm × 15cm

= 450cm^2

Area of half page = 450 cm^2 / 2

= 225 cm^2

Cost of advertise newspaper in 10 cm = rs. 200

cost of 1 cm = 20 rs.

cost of half page = (225×20)

= 450 rs.

hence, they pay 450 rs. for advertise a half page in news paper
