Advertising page = 7/12×60 = 35
Photographs page = 4/15×60 = 16
Total page = 60 advertising + photographs page = 35+16=51
So, articles and stories page = total page - advertising and stories page
=> 60 - 50 = 9
So, there are 9 advertising and stories page
Photographs page = 4/15×60 = 16
Total page = 60 advertising + photographs page = 35+16=51
So, articles and stories page = total page - advertising and stories page
=> 60 - 50 = 9
So, there are 9 advertising and stories page

See the advertising pages = 7/12,
The pages which have photograph = 4/15,
The pages which have article = x,
The total pages in magazine = 60.
The total pages in magazine = The
pages which have only advertise +
The pages which have only photograph + The pages which have have only article
60 = 7/12 + 4/15 + x
The l.c.m. of 12 and 15 is 60.
60 = (7/12×5/5)+(4/15×4/4)+(x×60/60)
60 = 35/60 + 16/60 + 60x/60
60 = (35 + 16 + 60x) ÷ 60
60 = (49 + 60x) ÷ 60
Cross multiplication
60 × 60 = 49 + 60x
3600 - 49 = 60x
60x = 3551
x = 3551
