Explanation:

i.e., RED + BLUE = MAGENTA, RED + GREEN = YELLOW. So, when yellow is incident on magenta green will be absorbed and red will be reflected since MAGENTA is a combination colour of RED and BLUE. A magenta colour object when seen in yellow light appears red.
