magnesium displaces copper from its salt solution .because magnesium is highly reactive than copper.

As Magnesium is more reactive than Iron, it displaces iron from its sulphate.


The balanced chemical equation is,


Mg + FeSO₄ ----------> MgSO₄ + Fe
