Answer:

9

Step-by-step explanation:

For advertising = (7/12)*60

                         = 35

For photographs = (4/15)*60

                            = 16

For articles and stories = 60-(35+16)

                                      = 60-51

                                      = 9

Given :

Total Number of Pages = 60

Advertising pages = 7/12

Photography pages = 4/15

To find :

how many pages have articles and stories on them?

Solution :

Finding Number of pages of Advertising:-

60 x 7/12 = 35 pages.

A number of Advertising Pages = 35.

Finding Number of pages of Photography :-

60 x 4/15 = 16 pages

Number of Photography pages = 16

Finding Number of pages of Articles and stories :-

Advertising pages + Photography pages

= 35 + 16 = 51 pages

Total Pages - 51 pages

Articles and stories => 60 - 51 = 9 pages.

Hence, Number of Pages of Articles and Stories = 9.
