Given height of man, AB = 160 cm
Hence DE =160 cm
Total height of the pole = 4.1 m = 410 cm
CE = CD – DE = 410 – 160 = 250 cm
In right ΔAEC, by Pythagoras theorem we have
AC2 = CE2 + AE2
       = 2502 + 6002
       = 62500 + 360000 = 422500
∴ AC = 650 cm
Hence the distance of top of the man from the source of the light is 650 cm.
