So this means that the man and the boy worked together for 26 - 6 = 20 days.

So they worked together for 20/24 days = 83,33% of the work

so therefore in working the last 6 days alone the man completed 17,67% of the work

which means that he can complete the entire job alone in 6/17,67/100= 36 days

to calculate the boys days to complete = x

24 ( 1 + x ) = 36

24 + 24x = 36

24x = 12

x = 1/2 = 0,5

so the boy can complete the job in 0,5 x 36 = 18 days

pls mark brainliest if this makes sense
