Answer:

Ratio of efficiency of A:B=8:5

Total Efficiency=13

When the total efficiency is 13, they complete the work in 40 days

When the efficiency of A is 8, A could complete the work in (40/8)*13=65 days

Thus. A alone can do the work in 65 days

Answer:

look

Step-by-step explanation:

days = 20

let the work force of man be 8x

and witk force of woman be 5x

then , 8x + 5x = 13

13 \ 20 = 0.65

8x = 8 * 0.65 =5.2

5x = 5*0.65 = 3.25

A woman can take 3.25*20=65 days to do the same work as they did together.
