Answer:

120 cards

Step-by-step explanation:

let the no. of cards with man and son be x and y

x-15=y+15

x=y+30     ----1

also x+15= 3(y-15)

x=3y-45-15

x=3y-60

from 1

y+30=3y-60

2y=90

y=45

from 1

x=75

x+y=45+75=120 cards

Answer:

The answers are 75 cards with man and 45 cards with son and they have total 120 cards.

Step-by-step explanation:

let the man has  X  cards and the son ha Y cards

According to the given condition

X - 15 = Y + 15

Therefore   X - Y = 30 ..........1

According to the second condition

3 ( Y - 15 ) = X + 15

Therefore  - X + 3Y = 60...........2

Add equation 1 and 2 and you get

Y = 45

Therefore substitute Y = 45 in equation 1

X - 45 = 30

X = 30 + 45

X = 75
