similarly he also eat grapes on 3rd 4th and 5th day

(x)+(x+6)+(x+6+6)+(x+6+6+6)+(x+6+6+6+6) =100

5x+60=100

5x =100-60

x=40/5

x=8

the man ate 8 grapes on the first day
