Hi ,

Principal ( p ) = Rs 3125

Amount ( A ) = Rs 4500

Time ( t ) = 2 years

Rate of interest ( r ) = ?

Simple interest ( I ) = A - P

I = 4500 - 3125 = Rs 375

We know ,

I = ptr / 100

r = ( 100 × I ) / ( pt )

= ( 100 × 375 ) / ( 3125 × 2 )

= 6

Therefore ,

r = 6%

I hope this helps you.
