a man borrowed a sum of money from a bank on 28 April at 6% per annum he paid back rupees 2048 and cleared his Dept on 21st September find the sum borrowed​

  • SUM OF MONEY

  • The sum of money be X
  • at first we have calculated time

☆Time from 28 to 21 september

  • April=2days
  • may=31days
  • June=30days
  • July=31days
  • August=30days
  • September=21days

☆here we have to sum of the above days

  • sum of days=2+31+30+31+30+21=145days
  • convert the days into year
  • 145/365years

☆According to the above information☆

⟶si =  \frac{p \times t \times r}{100}  \\  \\ ⟶si =  \frac{x \times 145 \times 6}{100 \times 365}  \\  \\ ⟶si =  \frac{174x}{7300}

☆he paid back 2048₹

↪amount = p + si \\  \\ ↪amount = x +  \frac{174x}{7300}  \\  \\ ↪amount =  \frac{7300x + 174x}{7300}  \\  \\ ↪amount =  \frac{7474x}{7300}

Hence

• the sum of money

⇒ \frac{7474x}{7300}  = 2048 \\  \\ ⇒7474x = 7300 \times 2048 \\  \\ ⇒x = 2000.32
