Let the first installment be X rupees then next installment= x - 8 rupees

According to question X + X - 8 + X -16 + X - 24 + X - 32 + X - 40 + X - 48 + X - 56 +X - 64 + X - 72= 1000

10 X- 360=1000

X - 36 = 100

X= 136 rupees
