A man bought 27 apples. 2/9 of them are bad apples and 21 of them are good apples.

To find :

How many apples are good?

Given :

A man bought 27 apples.

In that, 2/9 of apples are bad.

Multiply total number of apples and number of bad apples,

             = 27 × \frac{2}{9}

             = 54 / 9

             = 6

Number of good apples = 27 - 6

                                        = 21.

Thus, the number of good apples is 21.
