A man bought 30 dozens eggs at the rate of 12 eggs for 3.00. Six dozens of these eggs were broken and he sold the remainder at the rate of 6 eggs for 5-30 what is his profit?​

360 eggs is 30 dozens. So the Total Cost Price was 30x12= Rs 360.

Subtracting the broken and rotten ones from the Total number of eggs bought,

360-(60+30)=270 i.e, 22.5 dozens.

The Total Selling Price= 22.5x15= Rs. 337.5

Since Total Selling Price < Total Cost Price. Hence it was a loss.

Therefore, Loss Percentage

= {(360-337.5) 360}x 100 %

= 6.25%
