a man bought 360 10 rupees shares paying 12% per annum. he sold them then the price was to Rupees 21 and invested the proceeds in 5 rupees shares paying 9/2 %per annum @ rupees 3.5 per share .find the annual change in his income

no of shares at 10 rupees
3600+12%3600=4032
21×360=7560
bought new share =7560/3.5=2160 shares
worth of 10800 rupees
486 per annum
=126 difference

income=no:of share*dividend%8nominal value

income=360812/100810=432

sum invested=no:of share*market value

sum invested=360*21=7560

no:of share=sum invested/market value=7560/3.5=2160

income=2160*4.5/100*5=486

change in income=486-432=54
