  • C.P of 75 mangoes=300
  • C.p of 1 Mango =300/75=4
  • S.P of 50 mangoes=300
  • S.P of 1 Mango =6
  • S.P of 75 mangoes=75×6=450
  • Profit=S.P-C.P=450-300=150

Answer:

Given: A man bought 75 mangoes for Rs.300 and sold 50 mangoes for Rs.300

To find: find his profit or loss

Step-by-step explanation:

Number of mangoes a man bought = 75

cost of mangoes = 300

Let cost of one mango will be x

ie  75x = 300

x = 300/75

x = Rs. 4

Therefore, cost of one mango is = Rs.4

Then he sold the 50 mangoes at 300

Then, he would sold each at Rs.6

ie 50x = 300

   x = 300/50

   x = 6

Therefore if he sold the remaining 25 mangoes at Rs.6 each his total income becomes 150( 25 × 6)

Hence he would get a profit of Rs.50

Therefore, he has profit of Rs. 50.
