A man bought 80 kg of salt for ₹ 88 and was obliged to sell it at a loss of as much money he received for 20 kg. At what price did he sell the salt?

Let price of the salt was x per kg.

Loss = 88 - 80x

20x = 88 - 80x

100x = 88

x = 88/100

x = 0.88 per kg.
