A man bought a certain number of mangoes at 15 per rupee and an equal
number at 12 per rupee. After mixing he sells them at 13 per rupee. What per
cent does he gain​

Lets assume that man buys ‘X’ number of mangoes,price of each mango will be 10/15 and 10/25. Now for x mangoes it will be (X*10)/15 and (X*10)/25 the SP for each mangoes will be 20/40 and for 2X mangoes(he is buying two lots of mangoes)(2X*20)/40. Total gain/loss=(SP-CP)/CP *100. Here CP is (10X/15)+(10X/25) and SP is 40X/40=X. Now,gain or loss can be calculated by substituting the values which yields 6.25% of loss
