A man bought a rectangular field of length 144m and breadth 64m . In exchange for their field of the same area. The side of the square field would be ____ ?

Area of rectangular field = length * breadth = 144 * 64 =  9216 m²
Area of square field = Side² = 9216 m²
Side = √9216
Side of square field = 96 m

given:-

area of the rectangular field=area of square field.

area of the rectangular field=l×b

=144×64

=9216m²

therefore area of the square field=9216m²

side²=9216m²

side=√9216

side=96m

hence, the length of the side of square field is 96m.
