Answer:

10 bananas = ruppees 45

1 banana = ruppees 45/10

so the C.P. is ruppees 45/10

1dozen banana = 12 bananas

12 bananas =ruppees 51

1 banana = 51/12

so the S.P. is ruppees 51/12

By cross multiplication, we get

45/10 × 51/12

540 = CP

510 = SP

LOSS = ruppees 30

loss % = loss/C.P. × 100

= 30/510 ×100

Answer is approx. 5.9%
