The buying price of each banana is :

45/10 = 4.5 Rupees

The man sells a dozen at 51 then :

A dozen contains 12 bananas hence :

The buying price of 12 bananas is :

12 × 4.5 = 54

The loss is :

54 - 51 = 3

The percentage loss is :

3/54 × 100 = 5.56%
