Step-by-step explanation:

First the first condition is that you find cost of one book in per dozen

Cost of 12 book= rs. 72

Cost of one book = 72÷12 = 6

Now he buys one book in rs. 6

Now,

He sell 5 book = rs. 25

Cost of one book = 25÷5 = 5

He sell one book in rs. 5

Now compare cost price and selling price

Cost price > selling price

So,

He has get a loss of rs. 1

please thanks me see I have given ans ok

According to the question, we shall first find the cost price of one book in per dozen.

Cost Price of 12 book⇒  \sf Rs. 72

Cost Price of one of the books ⇒ \sf 72\div 12 = 6

∴The cost price of one notebook is  \sf Rs. 6.

Now let's get to the second part of the question.

Cost of 5 notebooks he sold ⇒ \sf Rs. 25

Cost of one notebook ⇒  \sf 25\div 5 = 5

∴ He sold 1 notebook at the price of \sf Rs. 5.

Now let's compare the cost price to the selling price .

Now we find out,

\sf Cost \ price > selling \ price

∴ He had a loss of \sf Rs. 1 get a loss of rs. 1
