Cost of the cycles:2500 rs
Profit made on first cycle :5 percent
I.e. , selling price of first cycle
2500 * 5/100
125 rs.
So, he made profit of 125 rs on the first cycle
Profit to be made on another cycle : 20%
I.e., selling price of second cycle should be :
2500*20/100
500rs.
2500+500=3000rs.
Hence, he should sell his second bicycle of rs 3000 in order to make twenty percent profit

Hope it helped!!

Coast price of 1st cycle 2500

And sell at profit of 5%

So,  Selling price of 1st cycle

sp 2500(100+5%)/100=2625

Next,

Coast price of 2nd cycle 2500

And sell at profit of 20%

So,  selling price of 2nd cycle

SP 2500(100+20%)/100=3000.

Hence, Selling price of 1st cycle=Rs2625.

And Selling price of 2nd cycle = Rs 3000.
