A man brought 20 litres of petrol. He used 12¾litres of petrol in his car and 3⅖ litres in his motor bike. How much petrol was left with him.​

1. CAR => Fraction = 12+3/4 => 51/4 or  12.75

2.BIKE =>Fraction = 3+2/5 => 17/5 or 3.4

so, for total used petrol => 51/4 +  17/5  =>  16.15

petrol left => 20 - 16.15 => 3.85 L
