A man brought 360 eggs at rupees 18 per dozen, 40 eggs were broken and 20 eggs were rotten,what would be his profit or loss if he sells at rupees 20 per dozen?

360eggs were Brought at the rate 18/dozen.

So Total Cost =(360/12)×18=30×18=460

Now Eggs Which broke and The eggs which Rotted =40 and 20 Resp.
=60 eggs lost.

Leftover eggs =300.

Selling Rate= 20/Dozen.

Total Cost While Selling=(300/12)×20=6000/12
=500

So Profit=500-460=40 Rupees.
