Question :-

A man buying to pain at rupees 20 each t Cell one at a gain of 5% and other at a loss of 5% find his gain or loss percent ?

Given :-

Numbers of pen = 2

Price of each pen = ₹ 20

Profit from first pen = 5 %

Loss from second pen = 5 %

To find :-

  • Find the total gain or loss.

Let's Do...!

\boxed{ \sf \: Total  \: cost  \: price = Price  \: of  \: first  \: pen + Price \:  of  \: second  \: pen}

 \sf= 20 + 20

 \sf= ₹  \: 40

\sf \: Selling  \: price \:  of  \: first  \: pen = 20 + ( 20 ×  \frac{5}{100} ) = Rs. \: 21

 \sf \: Selling \:  price \:  of \:  second  \: pen = 20 - (20 \times  \frac{5}{100}) = Rs. \: 19

 \sf \: Total  \: selling  \: price = 21 + 19 = Rs. \: 40

 \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \boxed{\boxed{{ \red{\sf \: Then,}}}}

Total selling price = Total cost price

Hence, there will be no profit and no benifits.
