Answer:

-> 2₹ /-

Step-by-step explanation:

>1 litre milk =4 cups of milk

>1 cup of milk =5 ₹

assuming water 15% free of cost

>1 cup = 8 fluid ounces

>15% of litre = 15% of 32 ounces

15% of 32 fluid ounces = 4.8

>1 cup is of 8 fluid ounces

>5 ₹ = 8 fluid ounces

8 - 4.8 = 3.2 ounces

>1₹ =20% of 5 ₹ implies

20% of 8 is 1.6

1.6+1.6 =3.2 ; 3.2+4.8 =8

40% of 8 fluid ounces 3.2 is 2₹

now in total 32 fluid ounces adds

4.8 gives 36.8 fluid ounces that adds 3 ₹ to 20 ₹, he made 3₹ gain ^

by adding 15%W to litre M

>BUT he sells 1litre to 15₹ {:-)

losing 5₹ actually ; {:-( but left

3₹ he gained by adding water ,

so he lost 2₹ /-

{Any mistakes /\ happy to hear :-)}
